I totally agree with your assessment. I feel bad about the statues because as a historian they were Teaching Moments All! Though not born here I have a deep appreciation for those relics because they made my job easier. Walk through Central Park and you’re there! One of the Negrovilles of early NYC lore. Under our 🦶 feet, then the statues! I would be on a Roll. So many things around the school day Over, poof! Who doesn’t love a great conversation. Long winded I am but I shared your post as it just makes sense.🙏♒️🐕🗳🇺🇸Blue!
