Should I Send My Kids Back To School?

The challenge of sending kids back to school in September is that the Nanas and the grandpas are truly taking yuge chances of dying from the virus 🦠. As to the school setting, how many students per class is the safe amount? The NBA is doing the bubble thing which requires everyone to stay inside. It reminds me of the Biosphere 2 experiment in some ways but the NBA cannot have ☝️ player contract the virus neither can any 🏫 school risk students getting sick 😷 because the litigation will be ad infinitum with millions of parents suing for damages.

Let’s get to the point of this post; I would not send my kids back to school in September. It’s unreasonable to expect children to Don a mask for over three hours without taking a breath. Now they are expected to stay in one room for the school day which is longer than 3 hours. Okay so I have taken the decision now I must make sure that my kids are truly doing their very best from home to do school work. The other thing is, not many people are prepared to do the work of teaching. It’s always hard work for educators and students who are invested in their own path to success. Hey but there’s nothing else more satisfying than seeing my charges do well. I can’t imagine what I would have been if not a History teacher raconteur relishing every morning the chance to wax poetic about the people and events that we were living through. In fact on 9/11, I was in my first period class when the Math teacher, Ms. Williams came to tell me about the attack. I went into my Dean mode, ran to the fourth floor Dean’s office to see, watch Just In Time, the 2nd plane hit as the lost souls began jumping into the Abyss awaiting their now lifeless corpses; exploding into the sidewalks of Corporate Elite Conglomerates whose security even after 1993, did not have foresight to see a 2nd terrorizing attack. Rudy Giuliani was housed in the twin towers but luckily got out just before the first plane ✈️ hit. Some people today are probably upset that Rudy made it tout. 😆

To conclude, keeping it real; do what is best for you and your family. Period 💩

Six weeks from today or thereabouts, parents have a never before decision to make; do you send your children into the Lion’s Den? The anxiety of the decision coupled by the Unknown Elements related to COVID-19 is immeasurably staggering because if anything goes wrong who is to blame. As parents your first priority is keeping your children safe and healthy! I don’t know what I would have done since I was a classroom teacher for over 20 years. I caught twice the eye infection I can’t remember the name know but two times I was sidelined for three days in order to recover. Oh! I just remembered Conjunctivitis; so you can see my concern .

The two ghoulish characters are predictable Trump and his henchwoman, Betsy Devil’s Spawn Devos, Just making sure we understand our blessings and the Evils that lurks about. Thanks for your support and stay safe and sound please 🙏♒️🐕
